Ultra-Endurance Mountain Bike Racing

I split my time between my academic career and ultra-endurance mountain bike racing and exploration. I ride, race and explore for Chumba Cycles USA whose mission is to build innovative technically superior mountain bikes and products for passionate mountain bikers. Chumba has supported me on bikepacking expeditions throughout Ecuador, in Patagonia, China, Tibet and the USA as well as for races ranging from nocturnal marathons in volcano craters in Ecuador to 24 Hour Solo Mountain Biking World Championships.

While living in the Northeast USA, I  switched from climbing to competitive mountain bike racing back in 2011. While I do race XC (15-25 miles), my primary interest is in ultra endurance mountain bike races (350+ miles), endurance  (50-100 mile), and 24 Hour Solo racing. I previously raced for the Stan’s No Tubes/Corning Race Team during the regular season and for Cornell during the Collegiate Season.
